Four people have been reportedly killed in Galwyi Village in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State following an attack by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
The attack on Galwyi village, according DAILY POST findings led to the killing of four persons, including the Youth Leader of the village (Sarkin Masari).
It was gathered that it took the brevity and quick response of some armed vigilante group to repel the attack. They successfully chased the attackers out of the communities.
“We want to call on the state government and the Interim Management Chairperson of Chikun Local government who has being insensitive to the plight of the people to wake up from their slumber,” a resident lamented.
“They should collaborate and send all relevant security agencies to these villages that are being attacked; this has been an unending recurrent issue, which needs to be tackled immediately,” the source explained.
