Just In: Victor Moses Leads Chelsea FC To Victory Over Leicester City
Victor Moses scored and put in an energetic performance as Chelsea crushed Leicester City 3 – 0 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea came into the mach with a win and two loses in their previous three Premier League fixtures while Leicester came in on the back on a goalless draw with Southampton.
The corresponding fixture last season led to the sack of Joe Mourinho after Leicester defeated Chelsea 2 – 1 to solidify their title credentials. Antonio Conte went for a back three of David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Ceaser Azpilicueta.
Victor Moses replaced the absent Willian who was mourning the passing of his mother as Pedro started in a front three. Diego Costa opened the scoring in the 7th minute, Eden Hazard scored a second in the 33rd minute and substitute Victor Moses rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute with a well taken goal.
Costa’s goal came after Matic flicked a low corner to his path and his smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
Hazard’s goal came after a fortunate ricochet allowed the ball to move in his stride, dribble the goalie and score while Moses goal came after a delightful back heel by Nathaniel Chabolah freed the Nigerian to blast into the goal.
