Without money you Can’t have a Fantastic Life in Marriage — Actress Nancy Isime continues
Actress Nancy Isime has sparked another round of debate online. She sat down with Taymesan on Tea With Tay and said what many people are thinking but won’t admit. Love is good. But love alone cannot give you a fantastic life in marriage.
Taymesan tried to argue that people can still enjoy life without wealth. Nancy disagreed flat out. She asked him — if rent is due, children’s school fees are hanging, and there is no food in the house, what exactly is fantastic about that life?

“When there’s rent pending and the children’s school fees and there’s no food in the house, what’s fantastic life is that?” she asked.
She knows people will accuse her of talking from a place of privilege. So she shut that down immediately. She did not grow up rich. She has tasted struggle firsthand.
You know I didn’t grow up with money. I never had it easy, so don’t come and tell me this thing is small. So you’re not even talking to somebody who has seen money all her life,” she said.
She was quick to add that she is not saying love cannot exist without money. Love can be present. But when you are constantly in debt and unable to afford basic needs, calling that life fantastic is a lie.
“I’m not saying you should have all the money in the world,” she explained. She just means that constantly owing money and struggling to survive takes the joy out of marriage. Actress Nancy Isime

Benedict Johnson health crisis — the man, the actor, the very loud Tinubu supporter that half of Nigeria argued with online — is sick. Seriously sick. And the people around him are saying he needs surgery urgently.

That cannot be what happens here.
Benedict Johnson spent years on Nollywood sets giving this country characters that people still remember. He was not a background actor. He showed up and he delivered. And then outside of acting he became known for something else entirely — his support for Bola Tinubu was not quiet or careful. It was front and centre.
He said what he believed and Nigerians on the other side of that opinion let him know exactly how they felt. Loudly. Repeatedly. He did not move.. A lot of people did. But there was never any confusion about where he stood. Continue reading here
