The role is interesting and varied, with direct client interaction and team management.

They offer great staff development and flexibility, around both a full time role (for example early/late start or finish times, one day working from home) or part time role (for example 4 days per week or 5 days with shorter hours (eg school hours)) and a salary of £36.5-40k, to be pro rata for hours worked with great benefits.

Our client are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team to deliver all aspects of client accounting operations to their growing client base. The team has experienced significant growth in recent years and this position offers a real opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful and expanding team with proven career opportunities and clear career path.

You will take day to day responsibility for management of your client(s) and dedicated team, to ensure that KPI’s are achieved, including

Oversee production and review of accurate client financial information

Act as main client contact, ensuring all project deliverable are met and building a strong working relationship

Oversee team, ensure adequately resourced and coach and mentor junior team members

Contribute to & drive forward operational improvements and process efficiencies

Involvement in new client bids and non-client related projects eg sales and marketing

More about you

This role would suit a qualified accountant from either practice or industry environment. Additional attributes should include:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

Attention to detail and ability to identify and solve issues
