But she understands that grief perfectly. She explained that she had to completely surrender her personal ambitions when the call came.

Instead of waiting for movie scripts, she began traveling across communities, visiting local churches, and standing on street corners doing morning cries with a megaphone.God shifted my assignment

The glitz of celebrity lifestyle was completely replaced by the raw, urgent work of sharing the message of salvation. She emphasizes that the stage might have changed, but her true purpose only became deeper.

Liz Benson is not the only pioneer who traded the klieg lights for the pulpit. The trend of iconic entertainers evolving into spiritual leaders has become a significant cultural shift across the country.

According to one industry report by Vanguard News, she became part of a prominent group of seven major Nigerian celebrities including names like Zack Orji and Eucharia Anunobi who have publicly transitioned into ordained pastoral and evangelical ministry.

When you see veterans making this leap, it proves that the passion that made them succeed on television is the same drive they are bringing into the gospel. “To her, na ‘assignment shift’ be the koko.
