The vice president says Nigeria have to be united in order to achieve its manifest destiny of main Africa and the world Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says it is very important and greater beneficial for Nigeria as a country to stay together, than to be apart.

Speaking in the course of a convocation lecture at the Osun State University on Saturday, September 21, Osinbajo urged Nigerians to proceed to promote solidarity and togetherness as a substitute than promoting division, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
He faulted the narrative that the variety of Nigeria used to be a setback, noting that first-rate countries continue to be together despite their diversity.
“It is now not actual that our range is an obstacle to our sustainability; our energy is in our size.
Great countries are these that remain collectively in spite of their diversity, he said.
He emphasized the need for Nigeria to embody merit over quota in appointments, and also make investments in human development capital.
