Chinedu Ikedieze is a popular Nigerian actor, best known for playing alongside Osita Iheme in most movies after their breakthrough in the movie Aki na Ukwa.
In 2007 Ikedieze received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards.
Ikedieze harbored dreams of being a doctor or lawyer but changed his mind after he joined his secondary school’s Dramatic Society.
After his secondary school education, Chinedu proceeded to study Mass Communications at the Institute of Management & Technology in Enugu State.
There he joined the theatre group and actively took part in the group’s activities, using the opportunity to hone his craft.
After graduation, Chinedu Ikedieze featured in his first big-screen feature in 1998, playing a minor role in Evil Men.
He featured in few more movies afterward, and eventually had his big break in the 2002 movie, Aki na Ukwa, playing the role of Aki the mischievous child alongside Osita Iheme, who acted as Pawpaw, his partner in wicked deeds in the movie.
The duo has solidified the name Aki & PawPaw in the Nigerian movie industry.

Their traditional wedding between the actor and his then-fiancee, Nneoma Nwaijah took place on November 26, 2011, in his fiancee’s hometown – Isala Mbano in Imo State, Nigeria.
The traditional wedding ceremony was a huge success, the reception venue was filled beyond capacity.
In attendance at the wedding, was the former governor of Abia State, Dr. Theodore Orji.

The famous breakthrough for this duo was Aki and Pawpaw characters by Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme.
They began working together with Aki na Ukwa in 2002, after realizing that they have been playing similar roles in many movies separately, they decided to become a duo.

Besides starring in movies, Aki and Pawpaw owned Aki & Pawpaw Entertainment and have produced some films which were sponsored, but they don’t want to disclose the titles of these movies.
Also, they own the Aki n Paw Child Care Foundation.
However, since 2009 they no longer hang out together as they used to and they have been doing separate jobs. Nevertheless, this is not a problem for them, and they are still good friends!
