APC Names Wike, Soludo, Adeleke in Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign Council

APC names Wike, Soludo and Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke as coordinators in its revised campaign council for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Nyesom Wike, Chukwuma Soludo and Ademola Adeleke as coordinators in its revised Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election.

The appointments place the three politicians in charge of coordinating President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign in different states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

NewsFlash can report that Wike would coordinate the campaign in Rivers State and the FCT. Soludo was named coordinator for Anambra State, while Adeleke will oversee campaign activities in Osun State.

The appointments have attracted attention because the three politicians are associated with different political parties.

Wike is a member of the PDP, Soludo belongs to APGA, and Adeleke won his second term as Osun governor under the Accord Party in August 2026.

The revised APC Presidential Campaign Council list includes serving governors, ministers, lawmakers and other political figures assigned different campaign responsibilities.

Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will coordinate Tinubu’s campaign in Rivers State and the FCT.

Soludo, who secured another term as Anambra governor in November 2025 under APGA, will coordinate the campaign in his state.

Adeleke, meanwhile, will be responsible for coordinating the APC presidential campaign in Osun State.

The council also includes former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo, who was appointed Deputy Director for Sports Sector Mobilisation.

Works Minister David Umahi was named Deputy Director-General for Infrastructure and Sensitisation, while Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will serve as Director of Finance.

Senator Abdulaziz Yari will continue as Director-General of the campaign council. Senator Adams Oshiomhole will serve as Deputy Director-General in charge of mobilisation.

President Tinubu is expected to inaugurate the revised campaign council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

How Adeleke defeated APC’s Oyebamiji in Osun

Adeleke defeated the APC’s Bola Oyebamiji in the Osun State governorship election held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The incumbent governor contested under the Accord Party after leaving the PDP and secured another four-year term.

According to results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Adeleke polled 511,067 votes, while Oyebamiji secured 444,815 votes.

The result gave Adeleke a winning margin of 66,252 votes.

Adeleke won in 19 of Osun State’s 30 local government areas, while Oyebamiji won in the remaining 11.

The victory came after a competitive election in which the APC sought to take control of the state from the incumbent governor.

Adeleke’s appointment as the APC’s campaign coordinator in Osun is notable because he defeated the party’s candidate in the state’s most recent governorship election.

His new role will involve coordinating Tinubu’s presidential campaign in a state where the APC lost the governorship contest less than two months before the revised campaign council was announced.

The development comes as political parties prepare for the 2027 general election, with the APC organising its campaign structure ahead of the presidential poll.  APC names Wike

Meanwhile; APC and Tinubu could lose 2027 election, talks heating up as a viral breakdown blames subsidy removal, a weak naira and falling APC votes for the party’s shaky outlook.  APC names Wike

A viral breakdown doing the rounds online claims President Bola Tinubu and the APC are headed for a rough landing in 2027, with fuel subsidy removal taking most of the blame. The argument leans on rising transport fares, a battered naira, and a party that’s been losing votes election after election since 2015

Someone’s political breakdown has been making the rounds on social media this week, and the core claim is simple enough to repeat at a bus stop: the APC dug its own grave the day it removed fuel subsidy, and the bill is about to land. Continue reading here
