The late Dr Akunyili won so many awards too numerous to mention both at home and in Diaspora.
Barely 5 years after her demise on the 7th June 2014 (aged 59) her family discovered over 110 more awards, neatly packed inside a box in her safe room.
One of her son’s “Louis” wrote this on his Facebook page earlier today;
“Almost 2years after her burial daddy (Dr. Chike Akunyili) discovered another 2 big boxes of awards in Dora’s inner bed room.
I have just counted it and its 110 in number. jeez….. i have come to hang them like i did the other 820… ”

Meanwhile; Bartholomew Owoh, one of the three young Nigerians executed by General Buhari for an offence that did not carry the death penalty is the elder brother of Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia, emerging facts indicate.
A source close to the Nollywood actor revealed on Thursday on condition of anonymity.
According to the source, Nkem Owoh and the rest of his family have not recovered from the trauma of the cold-blooded murder of the three young men, particularly their brother and son, Bartholomew Owoh.
