A tiltoker has called out VeryDarkMan over his criticism of B-Red’s luxury cars and reported ₦500 million endorsement deals, sparking reactions online.
A Nigerian TikToker has called out social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his criticism of singer B-Red’s luxury car purchase, questioning why the activist does not apply the same scrutiny to Afrobeats star Burna Boy.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the TikToker argued that B-Red and Burna Boy are both musicians, questioning why VDM appears to be focusing on B-Red’s expensive cars while raising concerns about the singer’s source of wealth.
Speaking in the video, the TikToker said: “VeryDarkMan needs to calm down. Na the same music B-Red na him Burna Boy dey sing. How many times have you dragged Burna for the expensive cars he’s buying?
“If you want to question people about their source of wealth, we will have to question your brother who owns an office in China. What did he do to open an office in China?
“How many people did he sell cars to before he could afford an office in China? If you enter politics today, swear say you o go chop money.”

The comments have triggered reactions online, with social media users divided over VDM’s criticism of B-Red, the comparison with Burna Boy and questions surrounding wealth and accountability.
The latest criticism follows VDM’s comments about B-Red, the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, after the singer acquired a Lamborghini Urus.
NewsFlash reports that on October 20, 2026, VDM questioned the legitimacy of two endorsement deals reportedly worth a combined ₦500 million, which B-Red had announced in 2025.
According to the report, B-Red announced a ₦200 million endorsement deal with Armstrong Paints Limited in February 2025, followed by a reported ₦300 million deal ith Evermark Homes around July of the same year.

VDM questioned why the cheques associated with the two deals allegedly carried identical serial numbers and called on FCMB to explain the matter.
He also alleged that the endorsement deals were a “smokescreen” to conceal the source of funds used to purchase the luxury vehicle.
However, these are allegations raised by VDM, and the reported similarities between the cheques do not, on their own, establish fraud or money laundering.
The TikToker’s intervention has now added another dimension to the controversy, with the commentator questioning whether VDM applies the same standard when discussing the wealth of other musicians.
