Veteran actor Emeka Ike is a very angry man right now as old family drama resurfaces again, he didn’t hold back against Jaruma Kayamata and his son Sean Ike for their indecent act in a viral video recently.

Emeka Ike is making headlines again, but this time it’s not for a new film.

The seasoned Nollywood actor has been trending after he took to social media to call out Jaruma Kayamata and his son, Sean Ike, for using his name and image to promote a controversial video that features Jaruma and Sean in bed—complete with Emeka Ike’s face prominently displayed as the thumbnail.

Just like that, a family issue that many thought was behind them has resurfaced in the public eye.

Sources close to Emeka reveal that he felt deeply hurt and embarrassed by the way his name was dragged into what he considers a cheap attempt at gaining attention. He believes Jaruma intentionally exploited his identity to attract views, fully aware of the painful history tied to his family name.

Let’s rewind to: The 2023 Family Breakdown That Nigerians Still Remember

In 2023, Emeka Ike opened up about the emotional turmoil he faced when his marriage to his ex-wife, Suzanne, fell apart, a situation that nearly shattered him.

He claimed that:

Suzanne took their four kids, kept them hidden from him, and turned them against him.

This whole situation pushed him into a deep depression.

During that time, he felt both emotionally and financially shattered.

Media personality Chude Jideonwo invited Suzanne and Sean Ike to share their perspective — and Sean didn’t hold back at all.

Sean openly criticized his father, calling him abusive and emotionally damaging. He said that when he finally reunited with his mother, the first thing he told her was:

“I h@te my father.”

Sean made it clear that no one had influenced his feelings about Emeka Ike — they stemmed from his own experiences.

Suzanne also accused Emeka Ike of:

Physical abuse

Threatening her life

Not paying court-ordered child support, which she argued justified keeping the kids away from him.

“Michael, is this the school I sent you to? Please go back to school and stop embarrassing me.”

He voiced his disappointment that Sean had dropped out of school despite being advised to finish his education first — only to find himself linked to what he called a low-tier brand.
