The  suspect is currently in police cells in Abuja over a matter involving a 12-year-old min0r. Speaking for the command, SP Josephine Adeh verified that officers didn’t waste any time tracking down the suspect once the issue was brought to them.

A serious incident has thrown an Abuja neighborhood into confusion after law enforcement officers stepped in to grab a suspect accused of gr@ping a young girl. The latest FCT police arrest happened after family members and neighbors raised an alarm, pushing officers from the command’s gender unit to act fast.

According to initial reports, the victim’s family noticed her condition before taking the matter straight to the authorities. Investigators revealed that the man allegedly targeted the young girl multiple times within the area before her situation became clear to her relatives.

Medical checks carried out at a government facility confirmed her critical health status, prompting social welfare officials and rights groups to step in with support. The FCT police arrest came after careful tracking in the area, allowing officers to pick up the suspect without causing any public disturbance.

Police warned Abuja residents that laws protecting children aren’t open to negotiation, stating that anyone preying on kids will face total legal ruin. A video making rounds on social media shows the moment a lady was be@ten up by some guys who said she collected transport fare from them and refused to show up. The clip has caused serious noise online, with many people asking the police to step in and grab those involved.

People are angry after watching how the guys held her down over the matter. In the video trending on X, about three or four guys surrounded her, dragged her clothes, and kept h!tting her while filming everything with a phone.

From what eyewitnesses are saying, the guys claimed they sent her cash to enter a vehicle and visit them. When she didn’t come, they went looking for her, trapped her somewhere in public, and started f!ghting her to get their cash back.

Many Nigerians who watched the video said it makes no sense to put hands on anybody because of money issues. Rights groups also spoke against taking the law into your own hands, reminding people that h!tting anyone like that is a crime under Nigerian law, no matter what went wrong between both parties.

Lawyers have said it clearly that if someone takes your transport money and fails to come, it is a civil or fravd case.
