Meanwhile, NDC secretariat in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State was reportedly attacked on Tuesday with no casualties reported so far. Details are still emerging.
The New Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) secretariat in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State, had an unwelcome visitor on Tuesday, when unidentified persons reportedly stormed the premises, setting off an attack that’s since become the major gist around town.
Ask anyone around there, and they’ll mention the date without missing a beat — October 13, 2026. It’s the one detail everyone seems to agree on as they try to make sense of how it all went down. Accounts vary depending on who’s telling the story, but one thing seems consistent: the attack came suddenly, and it’s left people rattled.
So far, no casualty has been recorded, which many within the party say they’re grateful for, given how things could have gone. That said, the actual scale of the damage is still anybody’s guess. Whether the building suffered structural damage, or what became of sensitive office equipment, party documents and other items kept at the secretariat, remains unconfirmed as things stand.
