Nigerian Veteran actor mr Ibu finally rep0rtedly passed away after several years of suffering pains, an eyewitness said he died today at the Evercare hospital where he’s receiving treatment.
A widely shared article on X, the former Twitter platform, claims that seasoned Nigerian actor Mr. Ibu, whose real name was John Okafor, has passed dead.

In addition to sharing the heartbreaking news, @Postsubman also posted a screenshot of a conversation he had with a nurse at Evecare, the facility where Mr. Ibu was being treated.

Recall that in October 2023, John Okafor, fondly called Mr Ibu, revealed that he was suffering from an ailment that threatened to amputate one of his legs.
The veteran actor appealed to his fans and the public for prayers and financial assistance to cover his medical bills and also shared a video of himself lying in a hospital bed, expressing his fear of losing his leg.
