Davido and Burna Boy are back at the center of conversation among Afrobeats fans, this time over reports suggesting the two may have finally buried the hatchet.
The story, credited to entertainment blogger Cutie Juls, claims the two artistes crossed paths at a nightclub in Victoria Island, Lagos, during Zlatan’s bachelor’s party. According to the report, they allegedly asked the people around them to step aside so they could talk privately in a separate room.
Neither camp has come out to confirm that this meeting happened the way it’s being described, or that whatever issues existed between them have been resolved.
Still, that hasn’t stopped fans from running with the story. Some Davido supporters are said to be quietly deleting old insults they once threw at Burna Boy, while others online have been quick to point out that certain posts attributed to Burna Boy, criticising Davido, are still very much up.
