Senator Ned Nwoko has appealed to Regina Daniels’ fans, friends and bloggers to stop putting pressure on the actress.
He expressed concern over fabricated death announcements and misleading reports about her health and personal life.

Senator Ned Nwoko has appealed to Nigerians, particularly fans and social media commentators, to give Nollywood actress Regina Daniels space to recover amid concerns about her well-being.
In a fresh message, the politician condemned the circulation of false reports about the actress, including fabricated death announcements, and warned that those responsible could face legal consequences.
Ned Nwoko speaks about Regina Daniels’ condition
Nwoko said the actress had experienced difficult times that many people might not fully understand. He urged the public to approach her situation with compassion rather than criticism.
According to him, the birthday video Regina shared gave people an idea of some of the health challenges she had been facing.
He also stressed that their children deserved to have their mother supported and given the opportunity to recover.
The senator maintained that Regina’s well-being had remained important to him despite the difficulties between them. He added that concern about her condition was one of the reasons their private issues became public.
In his appeal, Nwoko said:
“As someone who knows what she has been through, I can tell you that this is not a time to judge, vilify or add to her burdens. It is a time to show compassion and allow her the opportunity to heal.”
Why Ned Nwoko is concerned about social media reports
The politician expressed particular displeasure over posts announcing Regina’s death and other misleading publications about her health and personal circumstances.
He argued that such content was harmful because the actress reportedly sees many of the publications, making the situation more distressing for her.
Nwoko called on her supporters to discourage people spreading such stories instead of sharing or encouraging the content.
He insisted that social media engagement should not come at the expense of the actress’s well-being.
Senator warns bloggers, social media users
Nwoko also issued a strong warning to individuals allegedly creating false stories about Regina for online attention and engagement.
He said his team was keeping records of the publications and that those found responsible could be taken through the appropriate legal process.
The senator made it clear that he would not tolerate deliberate misinformation, particularly claims concerning Regina’s death, health and private affairs.
He maintained that the actress deserved an opportunity to focus on her recovery without facing fresh rumours and fabricated reports.

Stanley Ontop is vexed. Properly vexed. And he went on camera and made sure everybody knew it.
The outspoken activist dropped a video that has been running up and down Nigerian social media timelines since it landed — and in it, he went straight at Regina Daniels after news filtered through that she had reportedly gone back to Ned Nwoko’s house.
