Nigerian Man Reveals Shocking Reason UK Warned Him Never to Donate Blood Again

A Nigerian man has shared how a UK blood donation centre allegedly advised him never to donate blood again after testing his sample.

He claimed laboratory tests detected malaria-related traces in his blood, which he linked to growing up in Nigeria.

His revelation has sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians on social media, with some questioning his experience and others sharing similar stories.

A Nigerian man has sparked an online debate after sharing his alleged experience with a blood donation centre in the United Kingdom.

The man, who said he spent between 10 and 12 years growing up in Nigeria, claimed that a UK laboratory advised him against donating blood again after examining his sample and detecting signs associated with malaria.

What happened when the Nigerian man tried donating blood?

Recounting his experience, the man explained that he attempted to donate blood after arriving in the UK, but the process reportedly took an unexpected turn when his sample was sent for laboratory testing.

According to him, the centre later contacted him with a warning against making another donation.

He claimed that the laboratory found malaria-related traces in his blood and suggested that his body might have developed some level of immunity to the disease.

The man insisted that he could provide evidence of the communication he received from the centre.

“Please we would advise that you refrain from giving blood again.”

He said the message made it clear that he should not attempt to donate blood in the country again.

Nigerian man compares mosquitoes with cold weather

The man also used the experience to make a comparison between living conditions in Nigeria and the UK.

He joked that the absence of mosquitoes in the UK could explain why the country has many homeless people, before admitting that the cold weather was even worse than mosquitoes.

His comments generated discussions about malaria, blood donation and the differences between living in Nigeria and other countries.

Nigerians react to the man’s blood donation story

The man’s revelation attracted different reactions from Nigerians, with some finding the experience surprising while others questioned his explanation.
